We have just gotten the first video edit from the showcase at the Marquee thanks to the folks at Piwiclip taking some time out of their busy schedule to make happen. Hopefully we they will be kind enough to give us some more soon! Also a big shout out to Jon Aasen from DBO for designing the lighting setup! Thanks also to all the folks who came out and showed support! Kudos!

New London based project Rumble in Brussels

Made J. - New band project record in Brussels

During this last week Denpasar superstar Made J.and his London based band project came to Brussels for the recording sessions of their debut album at 'Za Studios in Brussels. The sessions have distilled 12 songs out of thirty odd compostions for this project and will hopefully see a release towards the end of this year or early 2012. The project tenitvely named 'The Rumble' was founded by Made J and sessions drummer Jonny Delafonz and also present was upright bass player Yung Han Oei and the South Station Fairground backup singers! Watch this space for info as it comes up!

For the second year running Mottowsound has been trusted by the Video editors at Yell-O-Snow to edit the audio track for a Gibson giveaway video which will be aired on flemish television channel Acht TV. The video features Channel Zero guitarist Mikey Doling and the Gibson flying V which will be given away in a sweepstake.

Earthman Doublewood - Bad Blood

After years of crossing paths with Gered Stowe and going through the steps of recording in multiple places and countries, we are proud to announce that Earthman Doublewood's debut album is now available for digital purchase on, amongst others, CD baby!

 

And of course also on 

The physical copies of the CD will go on sale within 2 weeks at CD Baby! The album may have been called something like Hotels, Fields, Cigarettes, Studios, Trains and Life, but thankfully we didn't get to name the album, and it is after all Bad Blood!

W.A.N.E ep release

 
On the 20th of February this year W.A.N.E released their debut ep and played a smoking showcase at the Garcia Lorca downtown Brussels. Recorded. Mixed and produced by Mottowsound, the ep was essentially recorded live over 2 days at their rehearsal space, and the energy on the recordings again makes a case for tracking a band live! A new player on the Brussels R n R scene to be reckoned with!
